Yeah, this whole studying thing is going spectacularly badly. I mean abysmal. I hate genetics... this book is like reading a foreign language. And I really am kinda sorta trying to focus tonight, unlike yesterday. This is just a quick hot chocolate break while I wait for my ritalin to kick in. I thought using my Dharma mug might inspire me to be more sciencey or something. (ONLY 44 MORE DAYS TIL LOST GUYS!!1!)

Working from home tomorrow, so hopefully I'll be able to get a bit more studying done than I would at work. (A guy is coming to clean our carpet at 10AM. I will be ecstatic if he can get some of these mystery stains out.) You know, regardless of how I do on this exam, at least, in 19 hours it will be all over. And maybe I can fucking breathe and focus on trying to be happy and maybe enjoy the holiday. Or not.

You know you've been studying for too long when shit like this video about RNAi starts to be hilarious. At least it kind of helps me to understand it... is that sad? To understand this garbage they have to liken viruses to pirates, ribosomes to chefs, and RNA to monks... WTF.

Also, this fucking table is warped and my macbook won't sit flat. Argh. Okay, long enough break. Later, skaterz.

Maybe the table is warped because your whore cat scratches it up all the time! :-P

Also srsly even I was enjoying the RNAi video. Sorry I suck at staying up with you ha... am so lame. And I screwed myself over by not doing anything. Surviving this week would be fabulous and then we can do some cookie stuff, see Sweeney Todd and impress my fam with cooking skills.

Oh, holidays.

Okay, I'm a nerd but I throughly enjoyed that video. Maybe I should take whatever course your taking.

Re: RNAi
Genetics... the material is interesting enough especially when applied to real life situations like that, but as an online class and having to teach myself it was pretty much impossible. *crossing fingers for a massive curve*
