Cause we are finally free tonight.

Private Practice, if today's episode was any indication, might just turn out to be much better than Grey's unless Shonda manages to fix the whole mess all those amateur writers left the show in. We shall see. Private Practice will stay on the viewing list for now, most definitely.

Also, Pushing Daisies was amazing. I loved it. Makes me want to go watch Wonderfalls... *sigh* But I'm confused. Okay, so, in the beginning he brings the dog back to life. But he doesn't touch the dog before he touches his mom to realize that he can kill people? People pet animals all the time! That didn't seem likely. And then... IS IT THE SAME DOG? That dog would be like, okay, so they were 28, and then he was like what, 10?? when the dog gets hit by the truck, and the dog was already 3, so that's like a 20+ year old dog. WTF. Is it a different dog? And if it is, why can't he touch it? Oh man, I was confused. But the show, I love it. :) Wow, no off nights for TV... this is gonna be a crazy fall.

I shouldn't be awake right now. I was trying to get my XMas cards set, but then Kodak Gallery shut down on me. Then I was playing on iTunes. And now it's 3:30AM... huh. And I just realized somehow I got like 3 days behind on my birth control?? How the fuck did that happen. Note to self: stop sucking at life. Maybe I really do need to be getting more sleep... ugh. Later, skaterz.

I wanted to hate Pushing Daisies because "everyone" (read: internet new sites and local papers) have been raving about it for the last couple of weeks. I slept through it but I think it's been DVR'd, so I guess I'm obligated at this point to see what all the fuss is about.

It had a very Tim Burton feel to it. It was so good that had it been on Fox it would've already been cancelled. You should definitely give it a shot.

That's exactly what I just said :D I really enjoyed the latest ep!

Pushing Daisies is likely to become a new favorite show for me. I love the feel of it. It's so much like Amélie, which I love to pieces. I didn't think about the whole dog thing too much. Maybe this means, that people and animals, that the pie maker brought back to life, do not age anymore? And thus do not die at all until he touches them again? Poor Chuck.

Huh, maybe... good point.

And my roommate brought up the point that it was very Amelie-like, too! I definitely agree.

The dog is supposed to be the same one. I think that if he doesn't touch it, it can't die? I don't know, the rules haven't really been explained, but I guess I just figured it couldn't die of old age or whatever since he brought it back to life. And when he did, it was the same day as when his mom died, I think, so while it's pretty unlikely that he wouldn't have touched it before he figured things out, I suppose it's possible.

I like PD a lot, but it's no Wonderfalls. As of yet. I'm waiting for more before I make any final judgements.

I still haven't watched the last few episodes of Wonderfalls. I'm like holding out because I don't want it to be over.

I basically have them memorized. The last one and the two before the second to last (if that makes any sense) are AMAZING.

Of course they are. Jewel Staite is in them. :)

It was so weird for me watching Firefly after Wonderfalls. Kaylee is so different from Heidi. I went from absolutely hating her to loving her.

Jewel's good like that. She get's cast as a bitch in a lot of things. :)

So, I knew you were amazing...but you also listen to Boys Like Girls. Officially more awesome than I imagined.

And Yellowcard was AMAZING last night. =)

I'm a lot in love with that song right now. :) Glad you enjoyed the show! I told you they would rock. :D

Going to the post office now to put something in the mail for you... :D

Agree re: Private Practice. I will watch it again next week. I kind of think I don't really want to go back to Grey's at all... haven't watched it, not really planning on it unless I hear from others that it gets better.
