I feel like I've been putting this entry off for so long that now I have way too much to write about. Let's see... where to start, where to start.

This weekend was pretty busy. We got bridesmaid dresses for clarkdreams's wedding. I've got the one on the left. It's actually better looking than how it looks on the model... and definitely we're not getting in that aqua color. *vomit* We're getting them in like a deep plum color. athena2483's wearing the one on the right because she thinks she has man shoulders and can't wear strapless (she doesn't and she can), and since she's the MOH it's okay that she has a different dress. I like athena2483's dress a lot, but it made me look like a big skanky ho because my boobies were hanging out of it. I'm excited too because with mine I don't have to wear overly complicated undergarments, just a strapless. athena2483's dips pretty low in the back.

Other big thing this weekend was The Bamboozle concert in New Jersey. We left pretty early because we knew Brand New was going on first at 12:05 and didn't want to miss them, since they were pretty much the main reason I decided to even drive all the way to New Jersey. Now I fucking love Brand New. They are one of my most favorite bands and the almost never tour. Last time I saw them was at Warped Tour a few years back and they fucking pwned. They've since come out with some new stuff, and it's not as good as the old stuff, but it's not bad. Yeah, well, we got their in time to see them and I wish we hadn't. WORST. PERFORMANCE. EVAR. It was awful. It sounded like they were only playing one screechy terrible song the entire set. They did play one of thier old songs but they managed to fuck that up, too. It was HORRIBLE. So we're just going to forget we ever saw them. Relient K put on a good set. Yellowcard was amazing. I don't think they could be bad if they tried, but unfortunately everyone in the crowd was a bunch of assholes and everyone and their mom felt the need to crowd surf. Some fucking asshole's shoe ripped half my thumb nail off. GUYS SHOULD NOT CROWD SURF. ANYONE OVER 100LBS SHOULD NOT CROWD SURF. GAH. I hate people. I hate stupid punky teenagers. Seriously, I shouldn't be allowed around large groups of people anymore because all I did on Sunday was watch people and judge them. But seriously, not only should people over 100lbs not crowd surf, they should also not wear skinny jeans. If I had a nickel for every person at that concert wearing something unflattering, I would definitely not be worried about the lack of funds in my bank account. Yes, I am a shallow bitch.

Oh, so the concert, I saw Plain White Ts play "Hey Delilah" which is like my new favorite song. Jack's Mannequin was amazing, but they made me miss Something Corporate something terrible. Andrew really just has the most amazing stage presence. I heart him. Taking Back Sunday was AMAZING as usual. They played a lot of their newer stuff which I'm not as familiar with, but when they played the oldies I wanted to die I was so happy. The most hilarious part was there was a group of like infant little girls standing next to me (no seriously, they can't have been older than 13... they didn't even come up to my shoulder) and they were kind of standing there, didn't seem too impressed with TBS, cause they weren't singing along or anything, and then TBS played their last song which is their most recent single that's been circulating MTV and the girls went buck wild. Like jumping around and screaming. It was amusing.

Okay so best performance of the whole concert: Weird Al Yankovic. I screamed like a twelve year old at an 'NSYNC concert. It was such a throwback to childhood, I loved it. He got into costume for every song it was so entertaining. He played "Smells Like Nirvana" and gargled water and had the cheerleaders. He did "Amish Paradise" and I flipped out. Then of course he did "White & Nerdy" and had the Segway on stage and everything. I figured that would be the end, but then of course he came out in the fat suit and everything and did "Eat It". FUCKING AMAZING. I wear the world would be a much happier place if everyone listened to Weird Al on a daily basis. I was grinning and laughing the ENTIRE time. Linkin' Park was really really good, but we only stayed for like a third of their set because at that point it was freezing out and our legs were exhausted and we knew we had a three hour drive ahead of us. We got home before 1 AM, but not much before. It was a fun time and it was good to spend time with Susan and to see Kelly again, but I'm not going to lie... it was exhausting.

I finished Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince last night. It feels weird to be caught up to where everyone else is. I've been so wary of stumbling over spoilers and everything, now it just feels weird. And I'm a bit sad. I wish I had more to read! I didn't want them to be done. But now I cannot wait to find out what happens. I already knew the big spoiler points for Half-Blood Prince and it's probably good that I did because it was all still so jarring. I didn't get nearly as weepy as I did for the end of Order of the Phoenix, but it was still incredibly sad. And now I really don't know how I feel about Snape! It seems too easy that he would be evil. I don't believe that Dumbledore could've been fooled that whole time, but at the same time I don't think the Dark Lord could've been fooled either! So I just don't know! I can't wait to find out. I was surprised at how much shipping their was at this book. It didn't really seem to go with the how freakin' dark it was, but I won't complain. I guess it's real. They are teenagers afterall. Harry + Ginny = OTP. :D But now I don't know what to read between now and July... I had started Catch 22 last year and only got like 20 pages in so maybe I'll work on that.

So I'm actually really not at all busy at work so I think it might be time to catch up on some stuff I've been slacking on like timecards and training stuff. Don't want any of that to come in the way when I go for my review. I don't want to give my manager any reasons not to promote me. I need a raise so badly. My chemistry books are over $200. Ugh. Alright, sorry for the very long entry. Maybe I'll post again before NYC, but if not I'll catch up with everyone Friday night, when I should be studying and not playing on livejournal. Later, skaterz.

I need to figure out what shoes and bra I'm wearing for the other wedding so I can go get a fitting. When is your wedding?

And you are quite welcome. :)
