Please don't go, weekend... please.

Really? I can't even deal with life anymore. I'm so... done. I hate that it's Monday and that I can't even call out because I have so much shit to do. And that the weather is going to be shitty again by the end of the week. I just... I really can't deal anymore.

But hey, when life gives you lemons what do you do? Make pointless memes!

Comment, and I will name you 3 interests from your list, and 3 userpics and you explain them in your own post asking the same of your flisters.

Had a massive obsession with this in high school. I'm fairly certain my friends and I included glitter in about everything we did, including massively and unnecessarily intricate signs for hockey game. But hey, i'ts okay because glitter makes everything so much prettier.

I love hockey. Not as much as I used to. I used to be a gigantic hockey fan, having had season tickets to the Hartford Wolf Pack (AHL) for four years. We used to stalk hockey players, too.... which I have to say were some of the best times I had in my life.

Ancient Romans
I took Latin for four years in high school and I'm sort of a nerd for it now. I still make sure to send my Latin friends "Happy Saturnalia" and "Beware the Ides" text messages. Again, some of the best memories I remember were in Miss Kell's Latin class. :)

One of my most favorite cat macros either. I saw it in someone's journal once and just about peed my pants. This icon came in handy when I got my wisdom teeth pulled.

These kind of icons are just hilarious. There's a mess of them going around for SGA and they're all pretty fantastic. I thought this icon would be perfect when I am plotting someone's demise. And I do love me a good shiny Simon Tam icon.

This is one of my favorite scenes in Veronica Mars. It's also a perfect icon for all Starbucks-related entries.

I really really REALLY want to cancel tomorrow. :( Later, skaterz.

You're a hockey fan?! How did I NOT know this??? Anyway, I used to be a HUGE hockey fan. Columbia, SC has an ECHL (the league that's technically below the AHL but they're still professional hockey players...albeit minor league0 team called the Inferno and I LOVED my team!!! And yeah I did my share of stalking the players but they knew I was doing it and played along because they LOVED the attention. I'll have to pull up my personal website URL and send it to you because I have a TON of hockey pictures both on the ice and not. (And I have 2 game worn jerseys of my favorite players.

My hockey guys were a MAJOR factor in how high my alcohol tollerance...good times all around!

So yeah your interest in hockey and Ancient Rome proves even more that you are AWESOME!! :)

Oh and I'm commenting so you can pick out 3 userpics and 3 interest meme...looks like fun! :)

Oh yes, foreverseenstar and the rest of our crew were quite big hockey fans back in the day. I have at least 6 or 7 hockey jerseys in my closet back home. Hockey = win.

Dead languages. Tattoos. Quantum theory

Done...and that was fun!!! :) Although damn but I'm talkative in my post...or would that be typative since I'm not talking but typing...

Oh I have 4 hockey jerseys...2 of them are game worn, 1 is an imitation of one of my players' jersey and one has the signatures from the entire first Columbia Inferno roster on it. I actually wore my first game worn jersey under my cap and gown when I graduated college.

Here's my web URL...some of my pics of me and my guys are there. http://www.geocities.com/lyndasty_99/Inferno1.html

And while I'm pimping my guys (yeah not pimping the team per se because the team has sucked since the end of the 2002-2003 season) here's a youtube clip of our almost championship season...my guys made it to the finals of the Kelly Cup Playoffs against the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies and lost in Atlantic City :( ...but gave me an excuse AND a chance to go to Atlantic City for free! :)

It's so cool to have another hockey fan on my flist. :)

ZOMG those hockey players are babies! They're a bit older in the AHL than the ECHL I think.

Yeah, this website will prove to what a huge hockey nerd I was back in the day: http://members.aol.com/wolfsavard/wolfhockey.html

A good number of the picture links are broken, but you get the idea of what a huge nerd I was. Here are pictures of my friends and I with all the players we used to stalk meet after the games.

Looking back on these pictures I have no idea how I had a boyfriend or someone ever wanted to date me... wow. *embarrassed* You'll recognize foreverseenstar in the pictures, too.

It was weird then that all the players were so much older than us, and we never thought we'd be like the same age as them ever, and now here we are and half of them are younger! :P

As for jerseys, I only have one game worn, one that's covered in signatures from a few generations of Wolf*Pack players, and at least a couple that have players names on the back (I think I have Gretzky and Savard). They're all Wolf*Pack and NY Rangers except for a random San Jose Sharks jersey. :)

Yeah my guys do look like babies in those pics. We had a couple of AHL players come to Columbia. Sergei Fedorov's brother, Fedor, played in Columbia for a while...until he got in the way of a slapshot and had his nose broken. (He was a whiny little *****.) Ummm...Alex Auld, who's now goaltending for the Vancouver Canucks now, played for Columbia, too.

Wow...you and Marc Savard!! That's so COOL!!! *iz jealous liek woah* And yeah I think you and I were both at pretty much the same level of hockey nerdiness just at different times.

Looking back on these pictures I have no idea how I had a boyfriend or someone ever wanted to date me... wow.

Hehehe...yeah I know EXACTLY what you mean. First season that the Inferno played, I was dating somebody when the season started by by the second month of the season, I was single again. And I stayed single until the summer before the second season and I was dating another guy but by December, THAT relationship was over. I was completely devoted to my guys until after the 02-03 season and that's when "my guys" left Columbia and didn't come back. But I'm still a hockey fan...just a little less devoted.

Oh and I just have to mention this...on your website...the first URL you listed, the pop-up box that pops up before the page loads and says something about the site isn't meant for puck bunnies or anyone with an IQ less than 75? F.T.W. SERIOUSLY!! I about died laughing at that because I felt the SAME WAY about my site when it was listed on some Inferno sites...
Apr. 25th, 2007 07:17 pm (UTC)
Hahaha... yeah, no love for the puckbunnies.

foreverseenstar and I actually wrote hockey fanfiction about our favorite players on the Wolf*Pack. It actually got wicked out of control and spiraled into a crazy universe where we were writing stories about their grown children. We have profiles and timelines and... we were a little obsessed. :)
