As for Lost, that's an hour of my life I can never get back. That was maybe the most pointless episode ever. It wasn't unentertaining, but pointless. And it seemed to have such potential. And next weeks? I have negative desire to see Juliet and Kate get into a cat fight over Jack. *rolls eyes*</bitching>
On a much less cranky note, I have THE BEST A&P TEACHER EVER. So, my lab partner and I went down after lecture to finish our cat dissection with the other lab section, but they had to take a quiz first, and the spare room was in use by other class. So the teacher was like, "Well, I don't know what I'm going to do with you during the quiz." So jokingly I said, "Well, we could always just forget about the whole second part of the cat dissection lab." And to my surprise she was like, "Okay." *stunned* We told her we didn't have much left anyway (mostly because we lied about having done it all on Monday to our lab instructor) and she agreed to tell our lab instructor that we'd finished it. I love her. She is one of the best teachers I've ever had.
But ugh, I have a lot of studying to do in the next two weeks. I have a quiz on the entire skeleton on Monday that I'm not even close to being prepared for, and I have an exam the following Monday. Not fun.
Other bonuses: Today is payday! And I get to see EB tonight! :)
Okay, I've been neglecting actual work like it's my job. Later, skaterz.
PS - Harry Potter is ruining my life. I walked in today and my co-worker was like, "You look exhausted!" Naturally I had to explain it was probably due to the fact that I got sucked about 60 pages further into Goblet of Fire than I'd planned to last night, which of course mean I didn't get to sleep until around 2:30AM. Again, prioritizing is not one of my strong suits.

Why do people care about AI? Clearly, the girl going on a huger stike has no real life.
I really hope the hunger strike girl is doing it just to get 5 minutes of fame and not because she really thinks AI is worth that.
Time to go shower and eat. Gotta be gone in half an hour.
In other news, both of my actual bosses (the ones whose departments make up 90% of my work) were like, Sure, whatever! regarding my request for time off, so now I just need the directors' approval...
The next two weeks sucks for me too. I don't want to even think about it.
Next two weeks... gonna need lots of chocolate and coffee, I think. And someone will probably have to put my roommate's Harry Potter books and movies under lock and key.
I think it was really his hair that ruined American Idol.
AI: Okay, I may be Canadian, but we have Canadian Idol, too... and you know the only time it ever gets covered on the News as a news story and not some entertainment piece? When the winner's announced in September, and maybe - maybe if there's someone local to the area that gets booted. Other than that? It's covered on the Entertainment shows and that's about it (and at that usually the ones owned by the same company that owns the network that airs CI). That all being said, the things the nightly news tends to lead with on the Canadian channels versus the American tend to be drastically different as well... Odds are in a given night I can catch the start of the news on say ABC and it'll be something violent, and over on CBC? Unless there's been a suicide bomber in Afghanistan? I'd put money on it being politics, or maybe the Conrad Black trial. *shrugs*
I just can't believe people are making such a big deal about a 'talent' competion. (and I say this is as someone who watches CI every summer...) I mean, yes, you have to have some talent to get through to the broadcasts, but after that? It's a popularity contest. Nothing says the viewers have to agree with the judges, or be at all logical in their choices. The girl going on a hunger strike? Does she honestly think that's going to change anything? Of all the things to go to that extreme over... I mean, why not do it for something IMPORTANT? *sigh*
I almost had to demand today that we turn off the radio because I was going to scream if I heard/read about American Idol from one more media outlet.
*goes back to watching America's Next Top Model*
