Three down... four to go.

I finished Harry Potter and the Prizoner of Azkaban last night. BEST. BOOK. EVER. I really didn't think I was going to enjoy it as much considering I'd seen the movie about 10 times, but it's definitely my favorite so far. The movie is great, but doesn't come close to the book. I could NOT put it down last night. I've definitely been dreaming about Harry Potter like every night this week (during what little sleep I've gotten), and so it was bizzare when I was snoozing off this morning and I heard Matt Lauer talking about Harry Potter on the Today Show. Of course they were showing the new book cover. And of course, I was late to work, because I waited to get into the shower until I'd seen it. Even though I totally knew I could find it on the internet with no problem. (I might need to learn how to prioritize.) But anyway, here is the full jacket:

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

The guy speaking about the book said the inside flaps are even extended on this cover. He wouldn't say what it was about, but said that once people read the book they will realize it's a very interesting scene. He did affirm that the hooded figure is indeed "He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named". (It was silly to hear a grown man say that on TV.) But he also said he cried a lot as he read the book and that it's "very emotional". Eee! Can't wait! In the meantime I'm excited to start Goblet of Fire because even though I've seen the movie, from what everyone says, there was apparently a lot left out.

I saw my first robin this morning. Hopefully this means all this nice weather is here to stay. I will be so pissed if we get dumped with some random-ass April blizzard. (It's happened before. Gotta love New England.) Gaz and I are going to go for a walk in a bit and enjoy it, just in case it is fleeting.

Oh! Freakin House last night. o_0 House has precognitive dreams now? Seriously? And knock it off with the Cam/Chase. Yes, they're both very pretty and will have amazingly beautiful children, and I'm happy they are together in real life so they can produce said children, but seriously, if I see them make out one more time I'm going to vomit all over my television.

Part 2 of kitty dissection tonight. Ugh. After that my lab partner and I are going to stay after and study for our skeleton quiz. I know NOTHING right now, so this is quite necessary. I should go eat something because I probably won't have a stomach for it later tonight. Later, skaterz.

I loved Prisoner of Azkaban. It's my favorite out of the whole series.

I can't wait to figure out if it'll stay mine or not. But I was like grinning at the end of the book. :)

And knock it off with the Cam/Chase.

I could not agree more!!!!

Re: nice
PERT is... well... in a sad sad state. Everyone is still just as disgruntled. We have like no tab department left. Everyone is all WTF. Half the PDs are slammed with work and the other half have nothing to do. All people do is bitch.

HR is doing one on one interviews with everyone to get feedback about PERT. I can't wait. I've already started a list.

Oh and yes, I do have AIM. It's wolfsavard, just like the journal. But I'm on gmail chat like all the time, too. laura.bittner at gmail.com.

I haven't finished the sixth book yet. Couldn't get into it. But of the first five, I think the second was my favorite, with the fourth as a very close second. Prisoner was my mid-book. I enjoyed it and was disappointed with the movie. It missed so many important parts.

Apparently I was the only one that thought the Adult cover looked like a Stargate. Good to know. And fandom seems to see Duck Tales, too. Which I can see. Clearly HP fandom is cracked. Which I already knew since I was in it for two years.

We've had birds for awhile now. And high pollen counts, too. I'd like to see if anyone has a higher count than Atlanta.

You mean the British kids version with the Trio on the cover? Tottttallly reminded me of Duck Tales. The adult one had a horcrux on it.

I've been hearing about the pollen issue from my flist. Sucks. :( It's so gross when there's that stuff floating around all over the place, even if one doesn't have allergies.

Aha, yeah. That's right. I'd seen so many covers they were bleeding together in my brain.

Mon/Tues we had 5499/5208. Yesterday was 3905. Today? 5937. So high at this part of the year. Pollen Count. I don't even have allergies and it's exhausting me.

Gross! Hopefully that clears up soon for you guys!

No, this is pretty usual around here. I mean, way ahead of schedule, but we think 120 is a good day. Like, massively good.
