Barack 'n' Roll, baby!

Obama's the projected winner in Iowa! \o/ I am so so so excited! All of the political analysts were saying that Obama couldn't survive a loss in Iowa, that Hilary would be able to, but not him. So luckily we won't have to find if that was true or not. Here we come, New Hampshire!

Huckabee, though, really? I mean, I haven't been following the Republican side of things much but I just can't picture ever saying "President Huckabee" is the leader of our country. Makes us sound like a bunch of silly hicks. Not like I feel Mitt ROmney is a much better choice but, geez. Maybe Giuliani will take New Hampshire?

Also Chris Dodd is dropping out. Really, Chris, what was the point of that?

Anyway, I am still getting over this cold so I need to get some sleep. Later, skaterz.

I haven't decided who to vote for yet (Democrat or Republican), but I saw Huckabee a few minutes ago and he looked like a young Richard Nixon to me. :-\

YES for Obama. I am so deliriously happy right now--and it gives me great hope for New Hampshire and Super Tuesday.

On the Huckabee side of things...have people heard the things he's said recently? First, I could deal with him--I didn't agree with any of his positions, but he seemed...smart, at the very least. THEN he started to whip out the crazy. He said Bhutto was from Mexico. Um....okay...?

*does happy dance* I just listened to the victory speech. I seriously love this man! I think I would be happy enough with Edwards or Clinton but Obama just captivates me... gives me hope for this country.

I know, seriously, Iowa?... Huckabee is fucking batshit.

MCCAIN FTW!!!!!

Sorry, had to get that out since you didn't even *mention* him in your list of potential Rep. candidates. :P

Most of the Republicans are crazy. Right now, my thought is: I will vote for McCain if possible, and if he's not the Republican candidate, I'll vote Democrat, unless it's Clinton, in which case I will vote Republican. So McCain > any Democrat who is not Clinton > any Republican who is not McCain > Clinton. So basically I am rooting for Obama for Democrat candidate cause he's my second choice.

Was McCain not really pushing for Iowa? I know Giuliani was focusing all of his efforts on New Hampshire. I don't have much of a problem with either of them. But Huckabee is a crazy whack job.

No, totally not, he's doing most of his campaining in New Hampshire where he's more likely to win. Huckabee would not even have won Iowa if 8 out of 10 Republicans voting weren't Evangelical Christians.

Sidenote - I like Hillary, but am not sure why - though Barack's victory speach after winning gave me the chills. All in all - this tells me to do more research!
